You can read most of GOLE Network without an account. You need one to post, comment, vote, or send messages.
Signing up
- Select Sign up.
- Register with your email address and a password, or continue with Google.
- If you used email, we send you a verification code. Enter it to confirm the address.
Onboarding
After your first sign-in, we ask for a few things:
- A username. This is your permanent-ish address on the platform — it appears in your profile URL and when people mention you. It must be 3–30 characters. You can change it later, but only once every 30 days, so choose one you will still like.
- Your display name. Unlike the username, this can be changed whenever you want.
- Communities to join. Pick a few subjects you care about. This seeds your home feed, and nothing here is permanent — you can join or leave any community at any time.
If you signed in with Google and skipped this step, your username may look like
user_1a2b3c4d. That is a placeholder. Go to Settings → Profile to claim a real one.
