What is GOLE Network?
A place for Somalis worldwide to ask questions, share what they know, and find each other.
Last updated
GOLE Network is a community-driven knowledge platform for Somalis worldwide. People come here to ask real questions, answer them from experience, and build a shared record that the next person can find.
It is organised around communities — spaces for a single subject, like technology, education, health, or agriculture. You join the ones you care about, and your home feed is built from them.
What makes it different
- Answers are meant to last. A good answer stays findable months later, unlike a message in a group chat that scrolls away.
- Contribution is visible. Helpful answers earn reputation, so you can tell who has a track record on a subject.
- All three languages are welcome. Somali, English, and Arabic — you can read the interface in any of them and post in whichever you think best.
What it is not
It is not a social feed built to keep you scrolling, and it is not a private chat app. Direct messages exist, but the point of the platform is the knowledge left in the open where others can benefit from it.
